Kirven has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Commercial Banking Executive with overall responsibility for all commercial banking activities, including small business banking and treasury management.

Mr. Kirven most recently served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Executive for Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Business Administration from Clemson University and is a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Active in his community, Mr. Kirven serves as Vice Chairman of Innovate Anderson, Board Member of Anderson Area YMCA, Oconee Alliance, Anderson Free Clinic, and is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church. A seasoned banker with over fifteen years in the banking industry, Mr. Kirven has been employed with The Palmetto Bank for seven years.
